Mental Game Essentials is designed for the committed student athlete who:

  • Has the talent and puts in the work, but struggles to perform like they know they can in competition.
  • Gets in their own head, lets mistakes spiral, or loses confidence under pressure.

  • Is ready to commit to the process, practice what we work on between sessions, and do the real work of building their mental game.

This work helps athletes learn to trust themselves, respond to challenges, and grow into the competitors they are capable of being, in sport and beyond. And for parents, there is something powerful about watching your athlete find their confidence again. 

How Mindset Training Works

Mental performance coaching isn't about positive thinking or pep talks. It's structured, personalized skill-building rooted in sports psychology frameworks and theory.

Over the course of six weeks and four one-on-one sessions, student athletes will:

  • Understand how their mind works in competition and what gets in their way.
  • Identify their mental strengths and learn how to lean into them during competition.
  • Build a personalized toolkit that may include self-talk strategies, pre-competition routines, visualization, emotion, regulation, focus techniques, and breathing tools.
  • Develop a clearer sense of who they are as a competitor and as a person, and what truly motivates them.

We wouldn't expect an athlete to be strong without ever going to the gym, or skilled without ever practicing. The mental game is no different. Most athletes have never been taught how to train mental skills.

Mental Game Essentials teaches student athlete the mental skills they need, so when the pressure is on, their mind is primed to help their body perform.
